How Does It Work?

Step 1: join your group

When you arrive, you will become a member of one of three groups: A, B, or C. If you are from Academia, you will be in Group A. If you are from a Healthcare Organization, you will be in Group B. If you are from Industry, you will be in Group C.

Step 2: pair up for 3-minute networking sessions

Each session will last for 3 minutes. When the first session begins, each person in Group C will be paired with someone from Group A or B for a chance to talk over a glass of wine about each other's projects, ideas, and research and development interests.

Step 3: pair up with someone new

After the first 3-minute session is up, there will be a 30-second break, and then each person in Group C will be moved along to talk to someone new from Group A or B as the next 3-minute session begins.

Step 4: repeat until the fifth 3-minute session

This will be repeated until there have been five 3-minute sessions and everyone has had the chance to network with up to 5 people.

Step 5: a break and a bite to eat

After the fifth 3-minute session, there will be a 20-minute break for everyone to enjoy some Turkish nibbles.

Step 6: five more 3-minute networking sessions

When everybody has had a bite to eat, it will be time for five more 3-minute sessions before the networking draws to a close. In just one hour, you'll have talked to up to 10 experts you might never have met - and maybe found your perfect idea for your next project, a new partner for an EC consortium, a new idea for technology transfer, new insights into upcoming tenders by governments and EU agencies, or a new market for your products. It's a win-win situation!
